Chan Vang, MA
*Currently accepting New Clients - Individuals, Ages 18+
Chan is a mental health therapist who works with adults seeking to explore concerns related to anxiety, depression, shame, identity, self-esteem, and relationship patterns shaped by family history and cultural expectations. She has particular experience supporting individuals impacted by intergenerational and complex trauma, as well as those navigating questions of identity, belonging, and cultural difference.
Chan believes that meaningful change is often nonlinear and can feel overwhelming at times. She views healing as most sustainable when clients feel motivated, supported, and empowered to trust themselves while remaining engaged in the therapeutic process. Her approach is relational and collaborative, grounded in deep respect for each client’s lived experience, culture, and personal values. Rather than imposing solutions, Chan supports clients in developing insight and making decisions that align with their own goals and sense of self.
Her clinical work integrates psychodynamic concepts, mindfulness-based interventions, trauma-informed care—including EMDR—and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
