Christopher is passionate about working with couples struggling to lower their defenses in order to emotionally connect daily, He enjoys working with couples readying themselves to make a commitment (pre-marital), those going through extreme life transitions that are changing the structure of their family, partnerships that need support in co-parenting, and those struggling with infidelity. He also loves working with individuals (16+) struggling with building self-esteem, making genuine connections to others, and living life with purpose. Christopher has a heart for those struggling with depression, anxiety, relational stress, men's issues including sexual concerns, and past traumatic experiences.

He is very relational and authentic. Christopher believes people change when they are able to build their self-esteem, find genuine emotional connection, and use skills to manage and contain their nervous system. He supports clients in contextualizing their problems in ways they can feel empowered to change. He is not afraid of challenging clients, with empathy and care, to promote their growth to accomplish their goals.

Christopher uses a wide variety of treatment models, including Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy; Gottman Model; Bowenian (Intergenerational); Systems Framework; Narrative/Collaborative Therapy; Experiential Therapy; and Eye Movement, Desensitization, & Reprocessing (EMDR)
