Transitions in life can be very challenging. The vulnerability that comes with uncertainty can expose our fears, insecurities, and sadness. Ben holds a warm, non-judgemental space for clients to navigate the emotional ups and downs of life transitions. He is committed to understanding where clients have been and helping them get where they want to go. Ben focuses on identifying cycles of unwanted behavior and works to provide tangible skills to change them. He supports clients struggling with anxiety and depression as well as those who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or generally unfulfilled, having a special interest in and empathy for individuals who identify as Highly Sensitive People (HSP).

Ben utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to help clients make changes to their thought patterns and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) to support clients’ identification of emotion in the process of making therapeutic changes. Utilizing talk therapy and EMDR to expose your inner thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, Ben will compassionately guide your healing process. He specifically enjoys working with adults of all ages, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, immigrants, and elders navigating later life stages and changes.
