Emily Booth, MS, PCC

*Currently accepting New Clients - Individuals, Ages 15+

Emily works with adults and adolescents who are navigating periods of transition—internally, externally, or both—where life can feel overwhelming, ungrounded, or uncertain. This might look like a career shift, identity exploration, relationship changes, or another major adjustment that brings anxiety, overthinking, or a lingering sense of heaviness. Many of her clients identify as neurodivergent or experience the world in ways that don’t align with dominant expectations, often carrying the quiet exhaustion of trying to adapt. She also supports individuals with complex or “in-between” identities—culturally, socially, professionally, or personally—drawing from her background in research and community organizing rooted in belonging, anti-racism, and identity-centered advocacy. Working with her clients, she focuses on deepening self-understanding, navigating change with more clarity and steadiness, and building a life that feels authentic, aligned, and sustainable.

Emily believes change occurs through the development of a safe and secure therapeutic relationship where curiosity can take hold to identify the ideal aspects of self and build towards integrating understanding for the parts we would otherwise shy away from. She brings a welcoming energy that allows for vulnerability and client exploration of self. Emily believes clients are the experts of their own experience and wants to walk alongside them in their therapy journey to support their curiosity, encourage their understanding of themselves and others, and build their resilience when faced with challenges.

Through Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Emily brings an understanding of how behaviors are learned, reinforced, and can be reshaped with intention. She incorporate practical tools from CBT and DBT to help support emotional regulation and reduce anxiety and draw from ACT to help you build psychological flexibility, clarify your values, and take meaningful action even in the presence of discomfort. Together, this blend of insight, skill-building, and a consistently attuned therapeutic relationship supports deeper self-understanding, emotional steadiness, and lasting change that feels authentic and aligned.
