Mental health Billing Specialist

Sage Leaf Wellness is seeking a warm, welcoming, and detail-oriented Mental Health Billing Specialist to join our team. This in-person role is ideal for someone who has expertise in billing, staying organized, and ensuring the day-to-day operations of a mental health practice run smoothly.

Responsibilities include mental health billing, insurance verification, billing support, payment processing, insurance billing troubleshooting, and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate has prior experience in mental health medical billing to insurance companies, is professional, dependable, compassionate, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Sage Leaf Wellness is looking for a bright, motivated, and trauma-informed therapist to join the team! We are a small group in St Paul, MN serving clients as trauma healers. We are looking for a therapist to join the team who is also passionate about helping clients heal.

This position is hybrid, offering both in-office and work from home telehealth sessions.

EMPLOYEE TYPE:

SLW offers W2 positions - no need to mess around with estimating tax payments, freeing our providers up to see clients and have a life.

POSITION TYPE:

Both part-time and full-time positions are available. Full time is considered 24 clinical hours/weekly to maintain healthcare reimbursement.

COMPENSATION MODEL:

Hourly pay, starting at $60+ for fully licensed // $55+ for pre-licensed

Requirements:

Masters in Counseling/Mental Health Related degree

Licensed to work in the state of MN (i.e. LMFT, LPCC, LP, LICSW)

At least 2years experience
