Andrea Sunderland, MA, LPCC

*Currently Accepting New Clients. Ages 18+

Andrea is a compassionate and curious mental health therapist who is experienced in treating complex and chronic trauma or loss. She works really well with clients who have tried talk therapy before with some success, but maybe still feel a disconnect between their head knowledge and what feels true in their bodies. She enjoys helping individuals to connect with different parts of themselves that have been in survival mode, supporting them as they step into grounded and embodied versions of themselves that honor and acknowledge their life experiences. During the healing process she is excited to work alongside clients who are rediscovering their values and living their lives with renewed intentionality.

Andrea enjoys bringing a sense of humor to lighten the mood when tackling matters of trauma and grief. She wants to nurture a warm, inviting space, believing that lasting change and hopefulness are possible when trust and safety have been established and we can compassionately reconnect with ourselves and others.

Most frequently Andrea works with adults who are 18-45 and 65+ who usually have diagnoses of PTSD or co-occurring GAD and MDD.
